EQUILIBRIUM THINKING

Created the concept, framework and technique of Equilibrium Thinking - a new thinking for the new millennium which combines age-old universal values relevant to modern living. The objectives of ET (Equilibrium Thinking) are enhancement of emotional intelligence, self-realisation, self-development, stress-management, self awareness, management of anger, aggression and emotions, enhancement of employee productivity and the management of self for happiness and excellence.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
• Selected as Probationary Officer in State Bank of India and worked as O&M Officer in the
   local Head Office.

• Wrote analysis of Road Mishap trends in the Metropolis of Madras as a Joint Deputy
   Commissioner of Traffic {Investigation}.

• Served as District Chief or Superintendent of Police of 4 districts and handled many law and 
   order, crime related and other issues.

• As Superintendent of Police, Ramnad started the FOP movement. The movement was later
  extended to all districts and Commissionerates .

• As Superintendent of Police, Ramnad started Shore Care Committees which were later  
  extended to all coastal districts in Tamil Nadu
.
• First Police Officer globally to conceive of an international blueprint for community policing.
  First IPS officer or Bureaucrat to have his article placed on an accredited Home page on the
 Internet by the University of Illinois, Chicago. Only person from Asia to be invited to an
 International East-West Sharing Experience Conference in Europe.

• As Superintendent of Police, Dharmapuri district started the Victim Assistance Program that
  led to the Government setting up a corpus fund of Rs. Two Crores for Victim Assistance.

• As Superintendent of Police, Narcotic Intelligence Bureau, CID, started FOP Drug -buster
  chapters all over the state. The report was published in "The Hindu" and also placed on the 
  Internet as a permanent site.

• As principal of the Police Training College of the state, trained 500 Sub-inspector cadets in 
  the methods and philosophy of "FRIENDS OF POLICE MOVEMENT".

 Was Invited to participate in panel discussions in Management Courses for Senior Officers at
 the National Police Academy and to talk about innovations introduced in policing. Delivered  lectures on Communication skills, Chairing a Meeting and other Management inputs at the Anna Institute of Management.

• Served as a consultant in a UNDP funded Project: A study on the Quality of Policing in India
  (1999 – 2000).
