The prestigious British Queen’s Award for Innovation in Police Training and Development was presented to Dr.Prateep V.Philip I.P.S , DIG, Tamilnadu in 2002.
The Director of FOP Dr.Prateep V.Philip, a former Gurukul Chevening Scholar and alumnus of London School of Economics has won the award for his project “Multimedia Training Centre for Friends of Police” which aims at creating better interface between the public and the police.
